The Run for the Dream Half Marathon has a four-hour time limit. This is an 18-minute mile pace, and course elevation is posted below. Runners are recommended to train for rolling hills, particularly on the Colonial Parkway section of the course between miles 6-11. Runners should also prepare for humidity, and pre-hydrate accordingly on race morning. Due to these conditions, walkers and new runners are encouraged to participate in the 8K this year or train diligently for the half marathon. The great news? At the finish line, you will know you really earned that medal!
