8K Course Information
Saturday, May 19th, 2012 -- Armed Forces Day
8:00 AM start
Our nation is in the midst of a battle to fight childhood obesity, and this 8K Run/Walk is a chance for young and old to be a part of the solution. 8 kilometers is just 4.97 miles!
May 19th is Armed Forces Day. Every day, soldiers serve around the globe to protect our nation and our way of life. On race day we plan to honor members of our armed forces who have given a great deal in service of their country – our Wounded Warriors.
The race begins on campus at the College of William and Mary, winds through the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg and finishes in William and Mary’s Zable Stadium.
